NebFMC loves music and our members that make it all possible! We are centered around a specific cause and purpose – that of making Ne-braska truly musical. When you join NebFMC, you become part of the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC); the largest volunteer, non-profit organization in the world! NFMC is one of three music organizations to be chartered by the United States Congress and the only music organization member of the United Nations. Only residents of the state of Nebraska are eligible for membership in the NebFMC. Membership benefits include:

A chance to increase your opportunities to perform or enjoy the performances of others

Membership in NFMC at state and national levels

A subscription to NFMC’s magazine for members

Participation in Events for members only including Junior Festival and Junior Composers

Recognition and cash awards through state and national awards programs

Joining more than 150,000 members in over 5,000 state and local groups

Collaboration with other members across the state of Nebraska

Junior Members - Students

NebFMC provides a stage for the aspiring performer. Each year our Student Events showcase musicians and composers across Nebraska. Qualifying students from all states are advanced to participate in the NFMC‘s events. Membership includes a subscription to NFMC’s Junior Keynote’s Magazine. Junior Members benefit from the exposure they get through participation in NebFMC.

Junior Membership is required for participation in Student Events. Junior Membership application is submitted by a teacher and due November 1.

Senior Members - Teachers

NebFMC aids teachers in ongoing efforts to promote music education and awareness. We facilitate professional experiences through collaboration of teachers and student events. We extend all NFMC benefits, including a subscription to NFMC’s Music Club’s Magazine. NebFMC Senior Members are eligible for leadership opportunities by filling Board of Directors positions.

Senior Member applications and dues are submitted by October 1.
